Hi, I'm Tim and I am an American born Taiwanese who grew up in the US until I graduated from college. I spent 8 years in Shenzhen and can speak conversational mandarin very well. I am trying to improve my business vocabulary for my current work and prepare for upcoming eMBA course at Taipei Tech. I would also like to learn some reading skills although less for work and more for simply getting by living in TW. I am looking for a tutor that can work with my at least once a week and can be flexible with creating a curriculum that suits my needs. I do travel quite a bit for work so schedule flexibility is also very important.

Hi, I have moved to Taipei with my wife to work as a Software Developer in a Taiwanese firm. I would really like to improve my mandarin, to be able to communicate better with people in Taiwan. We are looking to be here for about 2 years, so some more confidence with the language would be appreciated. I have done a small amount of classes before coming to Taipei, so have a grasp of the basics, but am looking for 1-to-1 tutoring for myself. I generally work from about 11am, so classes at 9am would be ideal for me. Am looking for 2-3 classes per week with a tutor that I can get on with and can teach me useful language skills for living in Taipei. My flat is near Neihu station, or my work is near Gangqian, so anywhere in Neihu District would be ideal.
