Hello,
My name is Romain. I'm 27 years-old and I arrived one month ago in Taiwan for work. As my mission will last two years, I would like to take mandarin lessons to better integrate myself into the country. Before coming to Taiwan, I already learned mandarin speaking and writing basics (simplified mandarin, ~40H). I would like to improve my conversation, writing and reading skills. I think that 4H of lessons per week is a minimum to progress. I'm available after the work around 18H, and I can also take courses during week-end.
See you !

Hi, I'm Taz and I have been living in Taiwan for 3 years. I would like to improve my Mandarin as I am confident with the general basics but would like to build upon this. I want to learn how to read and also focus on intonation when speaking. I would like a teacher who has pre-made course to follow ideally.
I am looking for a Chinese language tutor in Puli for in person lessons for 3 months. Concentration should be on spoken ping and listening in order to communicate with family! Experience is preferred.
Australian that moved to Taipei 2 months ago.
I've been learning Mandarin for about a year and a half but I'm still pretty terrible.
I particularly need help with speaking and listening.
I make lots of mistakes with grammar, tones, and pronunciation in general.
I want a teacher who can point these mistakes out to help me learn faster.
I'm looking to take at least10 hours of class a week, i think.
I would love any advice you have on how to maximise my efficiency in learning good pronunciation :)
Thanks for reading, I hope we can learn together!
Hello! My name is Rachel and I am new to Taiwan. I am a very beginner speaker and I would love to learn conversational mandarin as Taiwan is my new home, but I am a bit stuck on where to begin. I am looking for a patient tutor who can guide me through the Mandarin learning process and who can teach me survival Mandarin! While reading and writing is important, I would like to focus on listening and speaking to begin. I am a teacher myself, so I understand the language process, meaning I am open to a variety of methods. Additionally, I will be in Eastern part of New Taipei City, I am willing to meet face-to-face, but I can also do online tutoring!

Hello! I am looking for a replacement for my current Chinese tutor who is no longer available to teach me. I am a beginner/intermediate level. I am looking for a patient and friendly teacher who is also flexible as I already have a textbook that I would like to continue working through. I would also like to focus on everyday conversation. I look forward to your reply. ;)
Hello!
I'm looking for a face-to-face Chinese tutor in Taipei to speak Chinese with. I'm located near Songjiang Nanjing station, so meeting around there would be ideal, but I'm willing to go over a couple stops in any direction on the Yellow or Green line to meet up.
I recently arrived in Taipei and am planning to study full time for the next year or more. I already have a bunch of textbooks and other materials to go through in my self-study time, and so really only need someone to show up and talk with me and do the textbook "classroom exercises" with me.
Ideally sometime from 1-6PM on the weekday, booking and paying by the hour. I'm looking to pay around $250-300 NTD/hr, but am flexible and willing to pay more (up to $550 NTD/hr) as appropriate. I am also looking to book up to 3-4hrs per weekday, but we can start with just 1hr.
No English is fine.
Looking for a tutor to do free talk
I can hold conversations but i make a lot of mistakes using tones and grammar
I want someone who can point these mistakes out and give me the correct versions
No Preparation is needed, and no textbook will be used
Thank you
I've been in Taiwan for over a year but have not had a chance to study Mandarin until now. I'm looking for an in-person tutor or class around Xinpu station or the Banqiao area. I'm hoping to have lessons or classes about three times per week. Weekday afternoons are best but I can be flexible as far as day or time. I'm mostly interested in listening and speaking. It would be great to start right away!
I've lived in Taipei for five years and I'm looking for a tutor to continue my Chinese studies. Anyone is welcome to apply, but I think a *** university student or recent graduate *** would be best. I have a clear idea of how I want to be taught and I hope the tutor will be open to suggestions.
I'm looking for a Chinese tutor for Tuesday or possibly Thursday after 4:30pm. Near the Shipai area. I can speak and understand quite a lot and have been learning reading for a couple months and am up to book 2 in the Practical Audiovisual Chinese text. I don't want to focus much on grammar, but would like to continue to learn to read and conversation. I hope to have a fun, interesting and patient tutor.
Hello everyone,
my name's Chris and I used to live in Taiwan for a while but I'm currently back home in Germany. I used to be able to speak some Chinese (400-500 words) but I feel like I lost most of it in the past 1 1/2 years so I'm looking for a VERY patient teacher. Looking for remote teaching only at the moment, ideally 4*90mins per week between 10-11:30AM German time (so roughly 5-6:30 PM Taiwan time).
If you think you can help me, please contact me via LINE (ID is arc_rbt ) or IG (ID is christoph.lex )
Cheers,
Chris
I have been in Taiwan for 3 years, and have attended chinese classes for 12 months, but my chinese level is very basic. I am looking forward to get good at listening and speaking. Improve my Conversational skills to hold a daily-life conversations.
Hello, I am looking for a tutor to meet 2-4 hours/week, primarily to help with advanced reading and writing in Chinese. I am planning to audit a course in Taiwanese literature at NTU and would like weekly help with the assigned readings. For the rest of our sessions, I'd like to complete weekly writing assignments (I will bring the teaching materials) that the tutor will correct and discuss with me. Ideally, we could meet at NTU campus or in Da'an. Any previous experience or interest in Chinese/Taiwanese literature is preferred. I can pay 500 NTD /hour, but am also open to discussion, including offering language/writing exchange in English (I have a master's degree in English literature, and work as a freelance writer).
Please get in touch to discuss further, thanks.

After living in Taiwan for a number of years and many attempts at learning Chinese, I need more consistency and help with my sentence structure and speaking fluency. I live in Zhubei and would require the class to also be in Zhubei. The main focus to begin with is general speaking, listening, and writing. Thanks in advance.
Hi, I've been living in Taiwan for a long while, and obviously am not a total beginner, but I do need to improve a lot. Mostly I'd like conversational Chinese, or dealing with things like going to the bank. I prefer Zoom, but other online apps are okay too.

Hey! My name's Eric Yang and I grew up in the US. My parents are from Taiwan and I'm coming to Taipei for the first time this fall. Pretty excited to finally visit the Motherland for the first time... :)
A large part of this trip is for me to reconnect with my ancestry and become fluent in Mandarin. I can speak the language at a fairly beginner conversational level, but I'd like to learn how to speak, read, and write a lot more fluently. I'm also interested in learning about the meaning of each character, stroke, and calligraphy so if you're knowledgeable about that, that's a plus :)
Not sure how long I will be in Taiwan for. I started a technology nonprofit in the US and am considering applying for an Entrepreneur Visa if I decide to stay longer than 3 months. I'll be working during my stay in Taipei, but I'll have time for classes about once a week!
Thanks and feel free to reach out.
Hi there!
I'm looking for a patient Chinese Teacher who can help me practice speaking Chinese online. My Chinese is super terrible even though I've been in Taiwan for years! I will be only available in the evenings from 10 pm. I offer 300 per hour.
Thank you
I have learnt Chinese off and on again for a couple of years now, and as a result, my level is inconsistent. I want to improve my conversational ability so I can communicate with my Taiwanese friends.
Looking for a patient teacher who will help me critically think, develop my speech, and improve my pronunciation.
As the pandemic is going on, video lessons would be best, but I would like the option of face-to-face classes once it is safe to do so.
