In 2014, I graduated from California State University, Los Angeles Majoring in Chinese Program of Modern Language Department. Before my graduation, I have been a Chinese co-teacher at some local Chinese heritage language schools, such as Irvine Chinese School, Irvine Tzuchi academic school and LA Chinese pinyin training academy in Los Angeles county and Orange county since 2012. Besides, I took the Mandarin test of ACTFL-LTI. After my graduation, I came back to Taiwan to apply the Certificate Program of Teaching Chinese. I completed the program and received a Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages (TCSOL) certification in March in 2016.
I have been tutoring Chinese for 4 years and worked at a university as a junior teacher for a year. I pay high attention to pronunciation, especially tones, as this part often neglected by learners. I believe I have a solid understanding of the most common problems foreigners encounter when learning Chinese, and the ways of overcoming them. I take tutoring as seriously as I would take an official job, thus I am strict and demanding with my students, as this is the only way that your money doesn't go in waste. I also broadly use media materials to liven up the process, such as movies, songs(for Higher level)and cartoons(for Beginner and Intermediate levels. Apart from solely teaching the language I will be glad to share with you my humble knowledge of China's economy, history and society.
I studied in Chung Yuan Christian University, major in Teaching Chinese. In the case that I have opportunities to teach foreign students. My experience less than one year but I'm quite talented and enthusiastic .

Material will be chosen and prepared according to the level of the students if needed. I am also a energetic, lively person who can use metaphors to elicit the meaning of the language in a natural way. Students can ask me related questions via Apps after sessions. I am super fun and interchangeable to suit anyone.
Hi there, my name is Jamie Ye, I have 3 years teaching experience, also got TCSOL certification 4 years ago. Currently, I teach some students abroad through Skype, I can do both traditional and simplified Chinese characters. I prefer to combine learning with our daily life, this makes learning Mandarin more motivating for you and a lot more enjoyable. The best way to improve speaking ability is by having meaningful conversation daily, that will help you to pick up more and more vocabulary and the way of using them. And the other way I use to help my students to improve their ability is to memorize sentence patterns. When you have enough sentence patterns and practice daily, you can see lots of progress on you.
Look forward to have class with you^^

Hi, I'm Jialin. I major in both Psychology and Mandarin Teaching in university. I've had experiences tutoring 3 students and teaching in one small group class. I think the purpose to learn a language is to communicate with the locals, so I weigh speaking and listening skills a lot. You need to preview grammars and vocabularies at home, so that we can spend time on actual use, which you can not practice at home by yourself. But of course, if you especially want to improve reading or writing skills, I can also offer the classes! I can offer both face-to-face tutor and online tutor.
I am easy to get along with, and I really enjoy sharing thoughts with everyone! Please feel free to contact me at any time. =)

Depends on what the students would like to learn, I would discuss with them and find out the best way for them to learn Chinese.
Depends on student's demands for teaching.
Conversation- situated learning, dialogue practicing for per industry, students demands and business. Besides, go with listening practice as well.
Reading - booking reading, movie drama analysis for meeting students demands, then enhance listening ability as well.
Wtiting - Sentence practice, article practice... For lecture writing, easy writing or business writing.
