Kang Chiao International School
Kang Chiao Xindian Campus is fully hired for the 2022-2023 school year, however, we will accept applications for the 2023-2024 school year.
KCIS is a Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) accredited, International Baccalaureate authorized private school offering a strong International program for local and expatriate families. Our alumni study at some of the top-ranked universities in the world, including a number of the Ivy Leagues. KCIS offers an overseas college preparatory program for grades 7-12 with a choice of the IB Middle Years Programme, IB Diploma Programme, Advanced Placement, and AP Capstone programs. We have a diverse international faculty of close to a hundred teachers hailing from 15 different countries. Our campus enjoys a breathtaking view of mountains and forests and has exceptional facilities. Teachers can enjoy an indoor gym, a fitness center, a heated swimming pool, conference rooms, performance theaters, and one of the best Design and Technology laboratories on the island.
An offer of appointment will be conditional, and all successful candidates will be required to ● Provide proof of identity ● Provide Criminal Background Checks or equivalent covering any country they have lived and worked in during the last 10 years. ● Provide actual certificates of qualifications ● Provide two references, one of which must be from the applicant’s current/most recent employer where possible (note references should come from the supervisor of the previous organization, not a colleague).

Location: Xindian, New Taipei City (20 minutes from the Xindian MRT station).
Start date: August 2022

Working schedule: 8:30 to 17:00
Typical Class Size: 20 to 25 students

Qualifications and Package:
A typical KCIS teacher will have subject-specific teaching credentials or a relevant Master’s degree (often both) with teaching experience. Less experienced candidates are welcome to apply with a persuasive narrative, and more experienced candidates will be eligible for higher salary offers.
