I have been living in Taiwan for about 4 months now studying at Shida. Before this I studied Mandarin for about 4 years on and off in Canada. While I have much experience studying, I still encounter many problems in speaking, reading, listening, and writing clearly. I am looking for an experienced tutor who would be willing to meet with me 2-3 times a week, for an hour or two, and help me improve my Chinese in the above mentioned areas. While I am studying at Shida, I feel that the program is not entirely adequate and am looking for someone who will be willing to challenge me! I have some textbooks that we could possibly use together, but I welcome outside articles, books, anything! Obviously I will compensate you for your services and am willing to negotiate a fair price.
