Teachers wanted for employment at Annie’s School at various locations in New Taipei City!

Annie’s School is the leading ESL institution in the New Taipei City area. Since the summer of 2010, AES has used the fully accredited Calvert program. Students learn Language Arts, Social Studies, and Science with our comprehensive American curriculum. The Calvert curriculum has recently been updated to include a digital literacy component, so students will engage with the material through a teacher-led online and offline classroom experience.

Position Information:

We offer full-time, salaried positions for both kindergarten and elementary school teachers. Teachers work 8 hours each day, generally scheduled Monday to Friday, and have around 24 teaching hours each week.

Our full-time teachers start between 60,000-65,000 NTD per month (teaching experience and qualifications are taken into account) and have general full-time benefits included (health insurance, labor insurance, paid national holidays). Our schools provide employees with teaching material, a reliable schedule, and a supportive community.

Qualification Requirements:

We are looking for dedicated, responsible, and caring teachers who have an excellent command of the English language to join our team. Applicants must be native English speakers with a completed Bachelor’s Degree from an internationally recognized university. International experience, teaching experience, and experience working with young learners and/or English language learners are a plus. Applicants must be qualified to live and work in Taiwan as a foreign teacher as per the requirements of the Taiwanese government and Ministry of Education (see documents required below).

Documents required for your Work Permit/Visa and ARC applications:

- Foreigner's Health Check Results (obtained at one of the government-recognized hospitals in Taiwan)
- Copy of your Degree(s)
- 3 Passport size photos (can be taken in photo booths around the city and often located at MRT stations)
- A Criminal Background issued from your home country’s government
- We will need to see and copy your passport (ID page and entrance stamp)
- A copy of your lease agreement or residency in Taiwan.
