Hello! My name is Bonnie Blevins. I arrived in Taiwan November 3, 2004 and I am looking for an english teaching position. Three years ago I graduated from McGill University with a Bachelors in Psychology. My studies focused mainly on Child Development and Social Psychology, subjects which are applicable to teaching young children. For the past tweleve years I have worked with groups of students aged 2 to 12 years old in different childcare environments such as elementary schools, day camps, after-school programs and pre-school classrooms. I learned age appropriate programming, organizational skills, a variety of games, and had the chance to develop creative learning activities. Working in various settings also enabled me to meet other childcare workers, acquire a variety of skills from them and learn the importance of flexibility as well as teamwork. Through the years I have developed many characteristics that make me an effective teacher.
