Hello! My name is Rachel and I am new to Taiwan. I am a very beginner speaker and I would love to learn conversational mandarin as Taiwan is my new home, but I am a bit stuck on where to begin. I am looking for a patient tutor who can guide me through the Mandarin learning process and who can teach me survival Mandarin! While reading and writing is important, I would like to focus on listening and speaking to begin. I am a teacher myself, so I understand the language process, meaning I am open to a variety of methods.
