Need help mastering your tones and pronunciation? Or perhaps a clear explanation

of when to use “了” , “就” and all those other tricky words? Whatever the case, I

continually adapt my teaching methods to suit such varying needs: as a postgraduate

student researching how to teach foreigners Chinese at the University of Taipei, such

flexibility strikes me as pedagogically necessary and particularly effective.

In terms of experience I have taught varying aspects of Chinese, ranging from

business orientated to the academic; that is, at both basic and advance levels;

further any of these combinations can be taught in simplified or traditional Chinese

using pinyin and/or zhuyin: I utilize a range of different teaching materials for this

very reason.

As a native Taiwanese, I know just how difficult learning another language can be.

Because of this I’m a patient but attentive teacher, and one who is always excited at

the prospect of helping new students.
