My name is Irene Liu. As a Mandarin teacher for variety of nationalities, teaching and sharing Mandarin language and cultures with students have given me great satisfaction and joy. Patience, empathy, enthusiasm are my teaching attitudes and logical thinking and interesting methods are my lesson features. I enjoy developing activities and methods that have proven to be very effective in my classroom. In addition, I have also completed TCSOL certifications included teaching Chinese for young learners, adults, and business purpose which I believe will further strengthen my abilities.
I have graduated from Soochow University with major in Chinese Literature. With my qualification, I am highly capable of developing education lessons, preparing and evaluating tests, writing and managing student profiles. I am in love with teaching students and therefore, I have always maintained a good relationship with my pupils, colleagues, other teachers and pupils’ parents. I’ve also certificate of teaching Chinese to young learners by international association for teachers of Chinese to speakers of other languages, United Sates of America and United Kingdom, and I can motivate students to study in an effective manner. Most recently, I have been private mandarin tutor for executive director of Foundation for Scholarly Exchange and accountant of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Taiwan.
