APPLICATION FORM:
Submit your application form in person, by mail or by email at least one month prior to the starting date of the Chinese Program that fits your schedule.

APPLICATION INTRODUCTION:
1. Application Requirements
A) Applicants must be over 18 years old with at least high school degree or its equivalent.
B) Applicants must have financial proof to support the studies and stay in Taiwan.
2. How to Apply
A) Submit the following documents:
■ A completed application form
■ A photocopy of your passport or ARC
■ A copy of the certificates of your highest degree or proof of education
■ Financial statements proving the applicant has at least US$2,000 issued within the past 6 months
The application materials can be submitted in person, by mail or by email.
B)Admitted applicants who are already in Taiwan should make payment within two weeks.
C)Admitted applicants who are not yet in Taiwan will receive the admission letter within one week and should make payment one week before the program starts.
D)Official reports of physical examination issued within 6 months are required. Students must submit the heath certificate within one week after paying the fees.
♦Notes to Students
1. Applicants who do not submit all required application materials listed above will not be accepted.
2. For those who are rejected, Language Center reserves the right to inform you of the reasons.
3. Courses are mainly taught in Chinese while making English subsidiary.
4. Besides standard syllabus, instructors are entitled to alter their teaching plans. If students are not satisfied with the courses, please talk to the instructors or withdraw from the class.
5. Withdrawing application should be submitted within 2 weeks after the program starts. Please refer to “Withdrawing Application Form” for related regulations.
6. Students who are absent for more than one third of the course, about 20 days, are not allowed to apply for the next term or admission within 6 months.
7. Students who do not pass the Final Exam will be disqualified for the registration for the upper level. Alternatively, you can register for the class at the same level again, and only one re-registration is permitted.
8. Students who attend Chinese Program are not NCHU students. Therefore, you are not eligible for the rights for NCHU students.
9. The visa information is for your reference only. We are not liable to any errors or legal actions resulting from this posting.
10. If you are against ROC Laws or regulations of the Chinese Program, or provide false information, your enrollment will be cancelled immediately.
11. Your signature on the application form acknowledges that you fully understand and agree with the terms and conditions stated above.
We offer courses on a seasonal basis, i.e., each class running approximately for 3 months. For each class, there are 5 meetings per week, 3 hours per meeting, 180 hours per term. Dates for the start and the end of our seasonal programs are as follows:
Spring: Mar. 01, 2016 --- May. 20, 2016
Summer: May. 30, 2016 --- Aug. 19, 2016 (Application period starts now!)
Autumn: Aug. 30, 2016 --- Nov. 18, 2016
Winter: Nov. 28, 2016 --- Feb. 26, 2016
Note that the dates are subject to minor adjustment due to holidays or other reasons.
TUITION:
Currently, the tuition for each seasonal program is about 24,000 NTD (approximately 820 USD). Textbooks and other materials to be used in class will cost 1,000 NTD approximately.
Note that the tuition is subject to change.
