I am a college student and my major is Teaching chinese as second Language. I was to tutor an American child named Logan Chinese and to help her with her school assignments. I used some of the teaching material that I created with resources from the library and online. It included poetries, short stories and simple questionnaires. I received very positive feedbacks from her mom. I had another chance to teach a Taiwanese boy. In order to trigger his interest to complete his homework, I did some research with Jeremy Lin, it is his favorite basketball player and added that to create positive interaction.
