【CHRONICLE EVENTS】
In seeking the balancing points and allocating the educational resources, the Ministry of Education of Taiwan installed the Penghu campus of National Kaohsiung Marine Academy in August 1911. The campus was renamed as National Penghu Marine Academy and again became National Penghu Institute of Technology in 1996 and 2000, and at last, now is National Penghu University.

【MISSION STATEMENTS】
The University claims her fortes in aquaculture, industry, tourism, information and management and lays emphasis on practical training, global visioning, creative teamwork, professional skills. It provides a multi-disciplined environment for students and embeds ready-to-serve platforms servicing the community, local industries and the government.

【STATISTICS】
The number of students, both full time and part time totals 2100.57 out of the 91 current faculty members own assistant (or higher) professorships. With their solid trainings completed in the universities at Taiwan and other countries, we provide a richly toned ambience for studying.
