iLearn Modern Language School is looking for a new teacher starting the last week of August or shortly thereafter. We teach elementary school students who come to our school 5 times per week, from grades 1 to 6. All of our students are dedicated and work hard to learn. Class sizes range from 4 to 12 with more classes at the larger end as most of our classes are full, or nearly, at the moment.

We provide teachers with what they need in class while allowing the teacher the freedom to express her/himself. Our goal is to be one of the top English schools in Taipei. This means that we ask a lot of our students, while attempting to provide an atmosphere that allows the students to have fun as well. We encourage open exchange of methods and viewpoints between teachers to allow all to grow and to provide a better working atmosphere.

We are seeking a part-time teacher with potential for more hours. We expect 10-15 hours minimum for the new teacher from Monday to Friday. in the evenings, and possibly afternoon, dependent upon teacher wishes and availability. Approx. 1-8, 0r 4-8, depending on the day and schedule.

We are looking for teachers who are passionate and dedicated. We hope that you are already used to preparing for your classes and that you have ideas on how to help our students and our school improve. We also require teachers who have people skills and get along with their coworkers. We currently have an excellent, and hard-working, group of teachers and staff and would like to continue the positive atmosphere that we have fostered.

Applicants should: - have a bachelor's degree or better. - be professional in approach and are willing to share and communicate with fellow teachers - are native English speakers.
