Hi everyone,
My name is Matt and I'm a recent arrival in Taiwan. I've come to learn Mandarin, so I'm in search of a tutor. I've done about 40 hours of private tutoring before my arrival with a Taiwanese tutor online, so I'm not a complete beginner. I'd say I know around 250-300 characters so far.
I'm in search of a tutor who is willing to push me as I enjoy moving at a quicker pace than most students. I want to put a serious emphasis on learning proper pronunciation and tone production. I'm interested in all facets of learning Mandarin (reading, writing, speaking, listening) except for handwriting characters.
