I help pure beginners learn how to confidently speak basic conversational Chinese in around 6 months. I help my students achieve this goal by focusing on speaking (I don't teach Chinese characters), using a pronunciation system I personally developed and having the student learn a carefully-selected set of vocabulary that helps them save learning time. With this method, the student does most of the learning during our sessions, so my style and approach works great for busy professionals.
