Chinese tutor needed for American PhD student who will be living in TW for six months, from February through August.

I have studied in the past, but it has been a while. I want to refresh and learn everyday Chinese, maybe some simple conversational Chinese and I want to prepare and introduction speech in Chinese. I hope to find somebody who is a little flexible with scheduling and might be interested in doing some tutoring during Chinese New Year. I prefer to meet around the intersection of Keelung Rd. and Xinyi Rd.

Looking for private Chinese tutor

Looking for a Chinese tutor to work with an American family of four. Must be able to teach children and adults using pinyin and ㄅㄆㄇㄈ. Duties will range from helping our 5 year old with his homework, strengthening his writing skills, helping translate notes from his local public school, teaching/playing age appropriate games with our 3 year old in order to get her comfortable enough with Chinese to enter kindergarten next fall, and tutoring my husband and me using a standard Chinese learning text. May also be needed to help ensure that there is clear communication between our family and the local elementary school that our children attend. Hours required are 1pm to 5pm, four days per week (Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri) at our home near the Nangang Software Park. Pay is negotiable depending on qualifications.

I am ready to learn Chinese, seriously. I am hoping to meet with you two to four times a week for at least one to two hours. I want to learn all about food, shopping, and survival language for the trips to the doctor or dentist. Please help me fall even more in love with this fantastic country and teach me Chinese :)~

I am looking for language help during my 10-day trip to Taipei starting January 8. Not looking for an ordinary tutor, but someone who can give language assistance during my research of historical archives in Taipei.
