My name is Hao-Rong (Amber) from Taipei city of Taiwan. I received my master degree from National Taiwan University of Graduate Program of Teaching Chinese as a Second Language this year and I am currently a Chinese language instructor at National Taiwan University, Office of International Affairs. I have many practical experiences in assessing or teaching Chinese as a second language.
In 2014, I applied for a teaching assistant position for the UC Berkeley Travel Studies Business Chinese Program in the summer to tutor and assist 27 students from Berkeley at all levels after class. In 2015, I spent 6 months teaching Chinese at National Institute of Oriental languages and civilizations, in Paris of France. During my teaching lessons in Paris, I offered students a full language immersion in Chinese with pluralistic pedagogies.
I also have two kinds of authoritative teaching license, one is “National Teacher Certificate” and another one is the “Certification for Proficiency in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language”, both awarded by Ministry of Education of Taiwan. And consider about language issue, I can speak English and Korean (learned for 2 years)

I lived in NY for 10 years. Used to gave my friends free lessons. I know pinyin, so it would be a lot easier to start instead of learning with Phonetic.

About my tutoring experience...
I had 2 years teach experienced at public school, but for mandarin I had 3 months mandarin teaching, another one is tutoring a 3rd boy once.
I am interested in teaching, and I am majoring in Educational Master's Degree in Taiwan now. I have taught kids English in cram school and public elementary school more than 3 years. I can teach Chinese as well.
