Hi, I'm David, a recent university graduate from the United States--I went to one of the best, Ivy League-caliber liberal arts college in the country. I'm originally from Singapore (though my accent is more American than Singaporean), so I'm very familiar with the process of applying to American universities as an international student. I had to do everything myself for my own college application process--which made things really hard, but it also made me an expert by the end of the process! I credit my eventual acceptance to one of the best schools in the country to my methodical process that sculpted out a clear, unique and resonating portrait; a distinctive and genuine essay; and of course, a good sprinkling of luck! My SAT scores were Math: 760, Reading: 750, Writing: 750 (98th percentile). My SAT II scores were Math IIC: 800, Physics: 800. At my university, I graduated Phi Beta Kappa--which meant that I was at the 10% of all graduates. Outside of school, I have also read applications for one of the most selective universities in the world, so I know what top universities look for in their applications. I currently working on a few entrepreneurial projects in Taipei. I do have a bit of spare time though, so I thought I'll try some tutoring!
