Here are my stats: I will be available at the end of August. I have been living and teaching in Taiwan for almost 4 years. I am married to a Taiwanese girl. I have a Health Card and ARC. My Chinese is very limited. (I can communicate with the kids though) I have worked at 2 schools. Been a part of 4 Christmas Shows and 3 End of Semester Performances 2 speech competitions (writing, rehearsing, dancing, props ect?.) Salary: 650-700 I have a strong belief that phonics should be at the top of every kindergartens curriculum. Providing a strong phonics base in the early learning stage will show it rewards in the months and years to come. I also understand that parents want to see results and here in Taiwan they want to see them fast. Through experience and training I have had success with my teaching style. Upbeat, funny, and then at times quite stern but the end result is I can take a class of non-English speaking kids and teach them to speak English. I am not saying that I am a great teacher I am just letting you know that I have confidence through experience. I will travel most anywhere if the situation is good. I ride my bike, most days, to work. One of my hobbies is film editing: I always make a slide show for class and burn on a vcd and send it home with them. The parents really love it.
