I have been living in Taiwan and using Chinese for almost 5 years. I can hold conversations and read most basic text encountered in daily life. I struggle to read newspapers, books, etc. with speed or comprehension. I know pinyin but not zhuyin.
I am looking to improve my higher-level Chinese vocabulary, and my overall pronunciation. Knowledge of both Chinese and Taiwanese pronunciation/usage is a plus. For example, 炸鷄 zha2ji1 / zha4ji1 or 垃圾 la1ji1/ le4se4
I would like to meet at MRT Xindian Station. We can use the meeting area of my building complex.
