Hi, I’m Kelly, a Chinese native speaker and have been teaching Mandarin to English native speaker for more than three years. During the time in Malaysia, I worked as a full-time tutor to teach Mandarin to Korean students, aged from 3 to 20. I’m not only helped them to prepare for HSK and also trained them to speak Chinese in their daily life. Mostly, I will turn some lesson into a game, which can make my class more fun. I pursue my degree in Taiwan and I just completed it in Chinese Studies.
Since I came to Taiwan, I still teaching mandarin to foreigner student as my part-time job. I had worked as a teaching assistant, one to one tutoring in Chinese Language Centre at Tamkang University. According to my knowledge, I can share something interesting about Chinese culture and thoughts with my students. During my studies, I also spent my time being a translator to help my foreigners friend who doesn’t know mandarin. Included seeking for a dormitory room, bought some daily stuff and etc.
Based on my international background, I know both simplified Chinese and traditional Chinese. My class is learning mandarin by using PINYIN system. I will prepare my own materials and arrange outdoor learning activity for certain topic. If you have any idea about your study plan, we can discuss in the first lesson. Besides that, I also can teach Malay, Cantonese, and Hokkien.If you need translation in document help as the language I mentioned above, please contact me for more detail.
