Wenhua Elementary School is seeking English language teachers for the
upcoming school year. We are a public bilingual school located in Taipei’s Beitou
District, near Beitou MRT Station. We have been running English-teaching
program for more than 30 years. There are 5 foreign teachers working in our
school. Our school is looking for responsible, highly professional teachers who
can commit to a contract period of 12 months.

***Job description***
Location: Beitou, Taipei City (near Beitou Station)
Working time: Monday to Friday from 7:50-16:00
Teaching expectation: Teachers are encouraged to conduct reading activities
and design extended projects based on the stories. A set curriculum, syllabus
and resource will be provided.
Teaching periods: Less than (and include) 23 periods per week.
Students grade level: Grade 1 & 6 (age 6-12)
A one-year contract is required.

***Requirements***
1. Government-issued teaching license. Or having a TEFL or TESOL certificate
2. Holding a valid passport from a native English-speaking country
3. English native speaker
4. Having a valid APRC (We will not issue ARC or work permit)
5. Younger than 65 years old
6. No criminal records

***The application package***
It should contain the following documents:
1. A scan copy of your application form with signature
2. A scan copy of your highest degree diploma
3. A scan copy of your teaching certificate(s)
4. A certified copy of your passport
5. Proof of at least two years of teaching experience
6. Lesson plan of your trail teaching lesson
7. Teaching portfolio (optional)

A face-to-face demo and interview are a must for the position. The score includes
demo and interview.
