I'm looking for a man to practice speaking Mandarin with. My wife has criticized me for speaking in a "womanly" way.
Initially, I need to build my daily Chinese (going to the bank, post-office etc.) so I can be more effective at work. The focus will be on speaking and listening and practical vocabulary building.
I have some material to work on but you will need to also find other things. I DO NOT WANT TO USE THE SHR-DA BOOK.
I run an adult school and know a lot about teaching techniques. I can give some suggestions but you really need to be ready to teach in a NON-traditional way.
To start with, I'd like to try once a week Wednesday noon for 2 hours - though I'm a little flexible on that. The classes would be at my school in Banqiao. Near the Jiancizui MRT.
I would class my Chinese as Pre-Intermediate.
