My name is Jia-Rou Liu and I am a native speaker of Mandarin Chinese. Carrying the big enthusiasm for language learning, I chose English to be my major in undergraduate and graduate school. I have some English tutoring experience and I was also a English teaching assistance in college for the past a few years. My motivation of teaching Mandarin started when I met my graduate classmates. The majority of them were from different countries such as Indonesia, Philippine, Vietnam, India and so on. Although we used English to communicate for the most of the time, they asked me to teach them some Chinese so they can use in daily life. I started wondering the chance of being a Mandarin Chinese teacher which was the reason I applied for a training session for teaching Chinese in National Tsing Hua University. Now I have just finished the training and would like to have a chance to tutor some students!
