Hi, I'm Christine. I have taught English in a university in Taiwan for more than 20 years. In recent years, I developed an interest in teaching my own first language, Mandarin, and got the most coveted certificate of qualification to teach Mandarin Chinese as a second/foreign language issued by Ministry of Education, Taiwan. I deem myself as a considerate, patient, and tolerant teacher. I try my best to cater to my students' needs and adjust my teaching methods and materials accordingly. I use a variety of teaching aids to facilitate comprehension and include authentic materials to help my students relate to real life. For Mandarin, I am familiar with both traditional characters and simplified characters. I use Hanyu Pinyin as well. I've just retired from university teaching job and would like to work as a part-time teacher.Availability
