Seeking: Part-Time Teacher (@20 hours/week) for 2025-2026 School Year


Part-Time (starting now) Part Time teacher for grades 1 to 6 students. Welcome new
teachers with BA (or higher) from English-speaking countries. Hours are roughly
Monday,Tuesday and Thursday 4:30-7:00 pm plus Wednesday to Friday 1:30 - 4:00 and
4:30 - 7:00 pm. We offer 700 to 800 per hour depending on ability and experience. We are
hiring for 2025-2026 school year. We have a complete, well-designed American-style
curriculum, but we still appreciate implementation of creative new ideas. We do want
teaching to be student-centered with lots of paired and small group speaking practice for
kids. We can give you tips and suggestions on how to get students speaking more. We want
our students to love learning and learn well. Lakeside School is located near the brown line,
about a 6-minute walk from Hu Zhou MRT Station in Nei Hu District – just 3 stops north of
the blue line. Starts September 1 st .

Candidates will be required to provide a Criminal Background Check (or their country’s
equivalent). Qualifying teachers must be from Canada, the U.S.A., the U.K., Ireland,
Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa (and currently be in Taiwan).
