Introduction of Kinmen

(The upper left)(1/3) The intertidal zone of Jiangong Island
Our school is located in the intertidal zone. There are many fiddler crabs, mud skipper, and mangrove forests. It is suitable to walk to Jiangong Island to enjoy the sunset after school, and back to the downtown for dinner.

(The lower left)(1/3) Blue-tailed Bee-eater (summer elf)
The summer migratory bird is unique to Kinmen, known as “summer elves.” Their flying silhouettes are elegant and smooth. It is a particular species in the summer of Kinmen.

(The upper right)(1/3) Common otter
Found in abundance in your new home at Kinmen!

(The middle right)(1/3) Anti-landing piles
Kinmen is a crucial historic battlefield. Anti-landing piles, set as defenses during the Second World War, now form a part of the historically beautiful backdrop for Kinmen and are now tools for the many oyster farmers.

(The lower right)(1/3) Blue tear
You can see “blue tear” in the night sky along the coast of Kinmen from April to June. It is good to ride a bicycle to the beach in the evening to see.

(The second picture)
(School fair and performance of the school' s anniversary celebration)
Each class set up stalls to sell foods, second-hand supplies. As you can see in the picture, they are demonstrating their energy and cooperation skills.
There are many clubs in our school, such as Ethnic Dance Club, Wind Instrument Club, and Chinese Music Club. Students can use leisure time to learn additional interests and expand their circles of friends.

(The upper left)(3/3 ) Juguang Tower
Juguang Tower was established in 1952 to commemorate the heroic efforts of Taiwan’s armed forces. It is one of the signature structures Taiwan (Republic of China). You can visit here when you first arrive at Kinmen. Juguang Tower is the highest point in this city which overlooks the town and estuary.

(The lower left)(3/3) Deyue Tower
Deyue Tower is located in the port, which is peaceful at night. Here you can relax among the bobbing ships and the peaceful seaside environment.

(The upper right)(3/3) Porridge
Soup with meatballs, sliced meat and shrimp. A local delicacy of the freshest kind!

(The lower right)(3/3) Qingtian Hall
It used to be a medical shelter and a battle center. In 1962, people used dynamite to make caves and cliffs and excavate the hall artificially. Thus, carved marks and rock veins can be seen on the wall and formed this magnificent scenery.
