Job Description:
Employment period: February 2019-end of June 2019, with possible renewal based on job performance.
Working Hours: 8AM to 4:05 PM, Mon-Fri, 14 to 16 teaching hours per week
Class Subjects: 8th grade Listening and Speaking/Literature, 10th and 12th grade Conversation
Salary: starting at 68,000 NTD per month, with annual increase if contract is renewed
We are also accepting rolling applications for the 2019-2020 school year.
1. Requirements and qualifications:
- Native Speaker with a proper certificate of Education or a substitute teacher's license
- Passport from an English-speaking country
- Junior/Senior high teaching experience
- Résumé and Teaching references
2. Teacher responsibilities:
- Grading homework and quiz papers
- Generating and providing additional materials for classes
- Creating and marking exams three times per semester
3. Homeroom Responsibilities:
- Lunch with class once a week
- Conversing with students to create a Bilingual environment
- Responding to English journals twice a month
