I am interested in people who speak Chinese, I want to know their thinking and culture.

When did you first think of coming to Taiwan?

When I decided to study abroad, I checked online and found Taiwan had a safe environment. And I heard about lifestyle in Taiwan is similar to Japan. With those two qualities it was easy to choose Taiwan!

When you first arrived did you speak Chinese at all?
剛到台灣的時候,會說中文嗎?
Not at all.

Is it easy to live in Taiwan?
在台灣生活容易嗎?
It is easy. Much easier than I thought.

How many hours per week do you have class?
一周上幾小時華語課?
It was 15 hours a week when I first came, now 10 hours as I am in the advanced courses.

Good, everyone pays attention on studying Chinese, and we all love Taiwan.

I consider the cost very low comparatively speaking.

1. Taiwanese are all good people. If you meet with difficulty, they are willing to help you.
2. The food in Taiwan is delicious! Especially fruit - sweet and fresh.
3. Taiwan’s culture is similar to Japanese culture. There are also many people in Taiwan who study Japanese. So it’s easier to find language exchanges and to make Taiwanese friends.
