I have a master's degree in English plus 13 years teaching experience (including 10 years in Taipei plus 1 1/2 years as a college professor in my home state of California). I teach ONLY adults -- most of my students are executives, government officials, and other professionals. My teaching method is simple: I get my students talking, about many topics. Not only does it build their confidence, but it gives me a chance to correct their mistakes. My students tend to improve quickly, especially re: listening and vocabulary. Although I majored in English, I also know a lot about business, finance, investment, etc., and can help people to improve their English ability in these areas. I have professional experience as a technical writer, and would love to find some students who want to improve their writing ability.
