Hi! I'm Annie and I've been working in Taiwan for almost 3 years now. I'd like to say that I've got to know Taipei quite well, especially the artsy/ cultural/ LGBT (not so much the T) and of course, the F&B scene.
In addition to my perfect Chinese, I also do some Taiwanese, Japanese, and gosh I am learning français but in no way will I claim that I can communicate in French, more in a body language + facial expressions sort of way.
So please, leave me a note at [email protected] if you'd like to hang out, check out the city, or do some language exchange and save me from (or absorb me into) the all-american English that is currently dominating Taiwan.
Oh, I did my BA degree in London (SOAS, University of London), and prior to that I was boarding in a posh suburban Catholic school in California which seems so far away from my life right now it's almost surreal.
