Taiwan’s educational publishing industry is experiencing a great deal of unprecedented change. These changes will determine how this country’s youth will learn English for the next 50 years. If you think you’d like to get involved with this historical shift, read on. *

We are looking for a person with a sharp mind and a perceptive eye for detail to work in our Taipei office. You will be collaborating with our talented team from Tainan in revamping, developing, and launching exceptional English learning materials for Taiwan’s secondary school students. This person must also be an enterprising communicator who can join our island-wide book promotion tours during the spring marketing season (on the company’s dime), where it will also be your responsibility to bolster the company’s image. *

DUTIES *

1. Write, edit, and revise English language products for the pre-eminent educational publisher in Taiwan—including textbooks, workbooks, marketing materials, and ESL magazines.
2. Product promotion. *
3. Deliver workshops for teachers or special activities for students.
4. Answering questions from our teachers on social media.

THE ESSENTIALS *

Nan-I is looking for a dynamic person who:

1. is a native English speaker
2. holds a BA or above in English or a related discipline and/or has at least two years of publishing experience
3. is a quick learner and creative thinker
4. is adept at establishing and maintaining professional working relationships from the top down
5. is comfortable speaking conversational Mandarin.
6. is comfortable speaking in public to large audiences

* WORKING HOURS *

Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 17:30 p.m.
Saturday – sometimes for special occasions
