We are currently seeking 1 full-time kindergarten and elementary English teacher.
The salary is commensurate with experience & qualifications. It is NTD $60,000+ per month (about USD $2000/mo.)
The contract period is from August 25th 2014 to July 31st 2015. The employee will be able to earn an end-of-contract bonus (NTD $20,000) and also a renewal contract bonus (NTD $10,000).
We can help organize housing, and if the employee wants to rent a place by themselves, the rent is very little (a one bedroom place it is about USD $200~400). We provide teachers free lunch at school and also health insurance.
We also offer a paid winter vacation for 2 weeks. If the employee renews the contract in July, the employee has a paid summer vacation for 2 weeks.
Our kindergarten classes have about 24 kids and 2 Chinese teachers to assist the English teacher. Basically, we work as a team so we expect everyone here to be able to work collaboratively.
Job Title: Kindergarten and elementary teacher
Working Hours: The basic working hours is from Monday to Friday between 8:30 am – 6:00 pm divided into the following. However, if the school needs to have classes till 7:00 pm, the employee must cooperate to work till 6:30 pm. In that case, the school should give the employee longer lunch break or the teacher can leave 30 minutes earlier the next day.
(A) Kindergarten: 8:30 am – 12:00 pm,
(B) Lunch Break: 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm
(C) Elementary: 1:30 pm – 6:00 pm
(D) The employee has an obligation to work these annual school and administrative activities: Halloween, Mother’s Day, Christmas, Open House, Parent-Teacher Conference, field trips, and graduation ceremony without any overtime pay. These activities or celebrations might take place on holidays or in the evenings.
(E) National Holidays are according to the Taiwan government's latest calendar.

Qualifications:
1. Native English speakers (Canadian & American is a plus, but not necessary )
2. English teaching experience preferred (if available)
3. Easy-going personality
4. Hard-working/Cooperative attitude
